Far away from home? Well, experience Tết at your very own school!

In addition to all the fun and games, this will be the prime opportunity to learn about what Cal VSA does in regards to its programs and activities for the semester. Sign up to become an intern, to become part of a family, or to participate in our very wonderful annual Culture Show in April!

Hope to see you there!

NorCal UVSA Summit 2011 at UC Berkeley : Raise Your Voice

Date: October 7th – 9th, 2011

It’s that time of the year again: SUMMIT 2011 has arrived!  This year’s conference is themes “Raise Your VOICE”, where our activities and workshops aim to bring awareness to the contemporary issues of the Vietnamese-American community, empower conference participants to engage in the dialogues these issues create, and find avenues for combating these issues.  This year’s workshops address human sex trafficking (international and domestic), gang violence, poor nail salon health regulations, sexual health, undocumented youth, and others.  We hope you will join us this October as we collaborate to raise awareness and work towards creating positive social change!

Registration ($40) BEGINS on Friday, 9/09/11.

Late Registration ($50) BEGINS at 12:00AM PST on 9/24/11 and closes on 9/30/11.

For registration, details, and contact information, please visit the Summit Website HERE!  We definitely encourage Berkeley folks to give visiting college students an opportunity to delve into these issues by HOUSING, for which we’ll give a $10 discount off of the registration fee!

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there! Congratulations to everyone who registered!
