It’s that time of year again!!! Cal VSA Culture Show is coming up soon, so get your tickets now!

Join us for acting, vocal, and dance performances, all brought to you and proudly presented by Cal VSA.

April 21, 2013 at 1 PM in Zellerbach Hall

Tickets are $10 general, $20 VIP reserved seating, and $13 at-the-door.

VERTIGO explores the life-course of an adopted Vietnamese child (later known as Daniel Miller) who becomes part of the Operation Babylift legacy, a consequence of the Vietnam War that sent thousands of Vietnamese children to the United States for adoption. His adoption by White parents and upbringing in the American Midwest culturally strip Daniel of his Vietnamese heritage and replaces it instead with a life of isolation, misunderstanding, and a strange feeling of vertigo. In order to restore balance in his life, Daniel moves to Los Angeles where he finally takes on the challenge of authoring his own destiny and redefining his sense of identity, family, and purpose.

Culture Show Kick Off Hi there Cal VSA :D

Since you’ve all been busy with midterms, we’ve missed you a lot!
While you were working hard, we have been planning something for you. To kick off the Culture Show season and get ready for Spring Break, come hang out with us this Thursday at 7PM on Dwinelle Plaza!

We’ll have games, short performance tutorials, and delicious food prepared for you. On top of all that, our Lion Dance Team will have a special performance, and we’ll give you first access to Culture Show 2013: VERTIGO tickets!
