We aim to capture a comprehensive perspective of this pivotal event through stories and performances expressing ourselves as Vietnamese-Americans

We know Evans might be a bit far compared to Dwinelle and Wheeler, but please come out and let your voice be heard. This is where we have the opportunity to elect who will run Cal VSA next year. With our constitution revised and with half of the cabinet positions being year-round, come be part of this epicchange!!!!

We are especially looking for articles that tie into Black April (the fall of Sai Gon) and reflection pieces that touch upon the subject or an after effect of such. Perhaps the influence of Vietnamese Americans to American society and culture. Perhaps an experience of yours or your parents. An example of an article already being submitted by a member is one on the different generations of Vietnamese people (1st generation, 1.2, 1.5, 2nd generation, etc). However, you are welcome to submit anything you’d like, anything you feel is relevent to CalVSA, anything that expresses who you are.

Share a part of yourself and your thoughts to other members of CalVSA. Email publications chair at publications@calvsa.com ASAP to discuss any possible submissions. All submissions need to be submitted by the end of this week.

There will be a MANDATORY 20-minute interview for this election process. It may be in person or via telephone. Please check out the link below and sign up for a time slot.

The interview process serves to help our candidates prepare for the actual election itself. It will allow our candidates to really consider what theirvisions and goals are for VSA and of course to let us, the election committee, know them better. This is the candidates’ opportunity to tell us what they didn’t get a chance to tell us on paper.
